Just back from a lovely break in this hotel. We had a 2 night dinner, bed and breakfast deal with a bottle of Prosecco on first night. It snowed on our way here but stopped as we arrived and we had lovely weather afterwards. The hotel is right beside Loch Leven and surrounded by mountains (which were snow capped when we arrived).

The receptionist gave us the key to our room although we were early getting there and the view from it was amazing with a table and chairs right beside the window so we could look out. The bedroom itself was large and apart from a few stains on carpet very nice. The bathroom was dated and in need of update but the shower was really powerful. The food and service at the hotel was good although the dinner menu didn’t change. Breakfast had a huge variety including lots of fruit. There is a dining room and conservatory overlooking the loch and mountains so you are never far from the view.
There is also a small swimming pool which was lovely and warm. They do have children’s swimming so check when that is so you can avoid that time.

We found the staff very friendly and would love to return. Shame it is so far away.
