We stayed in Estuary Cottage, a Sykes Cottages property, which is also available through Menai Holidays (https://www.menaiholidays.co.uk/).
It is a lovely cottage with all the amenities and comforts you could wish for and, if you like walking, you will find its location, directly on the coastal path, to be ideal. There were three of us, one with mobility problems, and we found the layout of the cottage to be user-friendly, accessible and comfortable. However, there are three or four stairs between the downstairs bedroom and the living room/kitchen. This could be a problem for someone with limited mobility.
I would recommend that you take your own transport with you if you wish to go out for meals etc. There is a pub, The Pilot Boat, within a half mile as the crow flies, but it is much further as the human being walks.
There are plenty of lovely sights to see in Anglesey and all can easily be reached by car. I can’t vouch for public transport as we didn’t use it.
Restaurants were generally of a decent standard, but there were two we visited which were particularly excellent; The Sea Shanty cafe in Trearddur Bay (https://seashantycafe.co.uk) and The Oyster Catcher in Rhosneigr (https://www.oystercatcheranglesey.co.uk).
I could easily have stayed put in this cottage for the full week looking at the view over the estuary, strolling up and down the coastal path and generally recharging my worn down batteries. I have one thought on my mind, ‘when can I go back?’
