Sutton Hoo has an interesting archaeological history as well as stories about the people who worked to investigate the area. There are daily free tours, a viewing tower and very good exhibition, telling you the story of this place over time. There are also beautiful walks through woodland, heathland and down to the river port. Plan to spend a good part of the day here to get the most out of your trip.
