Elegant hotel set in centre of Cannes feet away from seafront. Has its own private beach across from the hotel which is not as nice as the public beach further up the prom. Breakfast can be served on the private beach but at 35 euros per person you may want to buy from the many kiosks or go to the wonderful market. The classic rooms are facing the back of the hotel and the central ventilation system can be heard through the night. The rooms facing the front of the hotel do look wonderful and as they face the sea the view must be lovely. The service is good and the beds are very comfortable. There are plenty of towels, bathrobes and slippers, a safe in the room and a TV also a mini bar but this is pricey. Go for the location, the film industry connections and the glamour of the hotel but take a travel kettle and eat outside the hotel.
