We stayed here after travelling and staying in b&bs in North Island and this was a real treat. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a lovely room with a view of the water. We also had use of the lounge and enjoyed excellent breakfast there. In fact there was tea and coffee available all day as well as various different foods. And from lunchtime on, wine, beer etc.
Staff were always courteous and very helpful.
We ate in the Chameleon Restaurant one night. Food was good, if a little fussy.
It’s in a good position just across from the water and within easy walking distance of the museum, shopping centre etc. If you fancy splashing out – here’s the place to do it!
