Reasons for trip

Some years ago my husband and I were able to go on a short trip to Iceland. We saw many things but my abiding memory that I think back to and would like to do again was sitting on the top of the hotel in a hot tub, looking out at the snow covered mountains and hills. There were 3 different tubs of varying heat and there was a sign to tell you how long you should stay in the tub. It was just so lovely sitting there with hot water up to your neck and relaxing and just enjoying being there and the view. Then you would become aware that you needed to get out, and you had to steel yourself for the freezing cold as you got out and quickly into the next tub. It was just the most simple and restful pleasure as you were actually in the moment. Not thinking of what you were doing next or anything than just being there in peace and quiet. Now of course hot tubs are quite popular here and many people have tried them. I have been used to organising things and being in charge of both people and occasions and can only say that the total relaxation and pleasure in having to do exactly nothing just be. I have travelled and lived in a variety of countries and have enjoyed many different things but have to say that this was the most restful and special day of any holiday I have been on.
