This self-catering property was amazing! Every room had stunning views of the lake and the facilities provided were excellent. Sleeping 8 in 4 bedrooms it was great for our adult family holiday. The main floor was open plan – well fitted kitchen, breakfast bar, dining area and living area with balcony. Spiral staircases lead upstairs to an attic bedroom and downstairs to the other 3 bedrooms with laundry room (all but 1 room had en-suite facilities). The local village of Talloires has a shop, bakery and several restaurants and cafes. The local beaches provide great swimming facilities – the lake is sparkling and clean. Lake Annecy is great for those who are sporty with all kinds of activities including paragliding and cycling. For those of us who want a more relaxing break there's also plenty to do. Annecy itself is a picturesque town with canals and medieval buildings a great day trip and, although we hired our own boat for a lake trip, there is a ferry from Talloires to Annecy and all round the lake. We rented this property via the Owners Direct website a very efficient experience.
