It's difficult to rate this, so I've given it 8 (Very Good) because at the price of 39 Euros for a room you can't expect the Ritz. Stopped here for an overnight break after 12 hours on the move, before pushing on early the next day. On-line booking process is easy but you need to be careful as it says things are "available" but that doesn't mean you have them in your room e.g. shower & toilet. Check in was easy & the receptionist was pleasant, sharing a joke with us. Room was clean but basic, a double bed with a small single over it bunk style. The linen was clean & the bed was comfortable. The room also has a sink, a TV & some charging sockets. The communal showers & toilets seem to self clean (don't go in when the red light's on) & for me were spotless, although sometimes the floor was a little wet from the cleaning process. I never had more than one person in front of me for the toilet & got a shower when I wanted one (so no long queuing). Free WiFi was available & that worked fine. There are drinks machines (albeit that the cold drinks were luke warm) & I know they do breakfast but we didn't try it. My biggest issue was that it was a very hot day/night, so even with the window wide open, it was a very hot sweaty night, so a fan or air con would have made for a more comfortable night. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, we ate at the La Toscana, which was very nice (but nothing special). All in all I'd probably use them again if I just needed a bed for the night, as long as you read the description carefully, F1 rooms do exactly what it says on the tin.
