We had a January break in the Hotel Los Gigantes this year.
The location is perfect if you like walking as there are plenty of routes around the hotel, although the less mobile may struggle.
The hotel has a couple of pools, neither of which we sampled, but I think the temperature was OK as there were people swimming.
Our room was on the fifth floor and was clean and spacious. Plenty of storage space, good Wifi and UK TV channels. It was a little noisy at night due to nearby bars, but not after 11 p.m.
Food was slightly above average for a Thomson four star – lots of salads and as you would expect, banana based pud!
This is a Sensimar, so no children which suits us just fine.
When we arrived, our room wasn’t available so we had a one night upgrade to a Jacuzzi room which was very nice plus a free daybed (normal fee e10).
Entertainment was the usual Thomson fayre, a bit cheesy and not that great, so we went out every night to the local bars.
