Reasons for trip

We had booked a very late deal, just a week before departure, so had not really done much research on this hotel.

When we arrived, the first impressions were not the best because the lobby was heaving with people, however, once we’d got booked into our room things felt a lot better.

Our room, as requested was on a high floor,in the hopes of getting a seaview, and it worked! The views were gorgeous. Palm trees and white powdery sand with turquoise sea lapping over it. The balcony was a great place to sit in the evening watching the golden sun set. Our room was large with a huge king sized bed. The mattress was hard, but the hotel quickly put a topper on it, and that rectified the problem. We had a bar area with generous amounts of drinks, all topped up regularly. The bathroom too was large and serviceable.

We were on an all inclusive deal so had the choice of numerous restaurants. If you booked in advance, you could eat in the speciality restaurants. We went to the steak house which was superb. The buffet restaurant had a huge choice of food with loads of variations so we were never bored of the food. Another lovely choice were the barbecues on the beach; jerk chicken with salad. Delicious!

We usually opted to go to the hotels beach when spending the day at the hotel.(we did lots of exploring, and day trips) Usually however, as seems the norm, the sun beds quickly got reserved, so an early start was needed to get the ideal spot under a palm tree. It was a lovely safe beach, great for swimming. There was an enormous swimming pool too, but this was always busy with sun worshippers so we rarely went there!

This ended up being a great hotel, and a much enjoyable holiday. We would certainly return.
