Reasons for trip

Excellent stay at a very smart refurbished hotel. It is ranked as a four star and immediately you drive up to the hotel you think very modern elegant frontage. The staff at reception are so helpful and laugh and joke with you. The Monica is adults only with buffet breakfast and dinner in its main restaurant and a pool bar for lunch. There is also a Spanish restaurant open five days a week with waiter service. The food was very good quality and piping hot when it should be, a good hot breakfast offered alongside fruits, cold meats, cheeses, cereals and pastries. Dinner always had two different types of fish grilled in front of you. Paella, risotto, and pasta dishes as well as occasionally eastern themed food. Wine by the bottle from 14 euro, beer 2 euros.

The bedroom was large loads of storage and hanging space, no tea making facilities though. Large bathroom with walk in shower no baths. All the rooms have balconies or terraces. The balconies are private with good quality garden furniture.
