We stayed at this hotel many times over the past 15 years. it is only a 3 star and although very compact, it is very popular and very good. although we are used to staying in 5 star luxury hotels we never fail to return to this hotel every so often as we enjoy it. Being a small compact hotel you find yourself making friends with other guests quite easily. It is ADULTS ONLY which is a godsend for anyone who wants a nice peaceful holiday without children (I have 2 young grandchildren but it is nice to have a relaxing break away from them, although I do miss them dearly when away). The restaurant is buffet style and you can always find something to suite your palet although you probably will be finding it difficult to chose as several meals will appeal to you. The hotel staff are friendly and the ALL INCLUSIVE bar guarantees you never wait more than 2 minutes to be served. they are the fastest bar staff I have ever encountered. There is evening entertainment every evening and usually the rep holds a short bingo session were you can literally win a lot of euros as everyone seems to buy many tickets. A very genuine bingo event. You are on the sea front but just have to walk across the hotel path to enjoy the sea where we spent many a happy day either sunbathing or walking along the immense stretch of beautiful icing sugar beach. The water is so shallow you need to walk out quite a way before it drops for you to have a complete dip. If you walk along the beach to the end (in the direction of Alcudia town) there is a lovely harbour where you can peruse the many boats or visit the shops in the main town. From the hotel there is a constant bus service to many places including Alcudia where you can get a bus to any part of the island, if you so wish. If you leave the hotel and turn left on the beach this takes you into the popular esort of Ca'n Picaforte, another enjoyable sea front resort. If you love walking you can walk for several miles each way from the front of the hotel. The only down part from our point of view was the hotel is very popular and sunbeds are hard to get if you are a late riser. If you have a room facing the pool (which has sun most of the time) guests do sneak down very early and put towels on the beds despite a notice for them not to. If you prefer a room facing the sea front (which we prefer as you do not get the hot sun on you in the afternoon and proves more quieter, I preferred it as I could sit on the balcony, with a drink, enjoying the peace and reading abook or magazine with a constant welcome sea breeze wafting gently across) then you are not able to slip down to reserve a sun bed. Other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel, particularly to older couples as I have in the past to many and feel sure you would not be disappointed.
