The hotel itself is situated in Regency Square, a beautiful, traditional place. Hotel Pelirocco is a fantastic choice for a unique stay while in Brighton
Close to the ocean & Brighton Pier, it's also w/in walking distance to The Lanes (shopping / music venues)
The neighborhood is quiet and hopping at the same time. Lots of people out & about & the downstairs bar was packed The traditional feel ends the moment you enter the Pelirocco! The welcome is warm and we were offered a free cocktail. The room we stayed in had a sea view and was full of memorabilia, posters, and books from the 50's and 60's. The tea and coffee tray also provided us with Curly Whirlys! A real blast from the past!
The bed was comfortable and additional heating was available (after all, this IS England in June)
The only thing I could fault was the bathroom. It was very small and only had a shower. It could do with a bit of attention. The rate of £155 bed and breakfast was also a little steep.
There is an underground car park in the centre iof the square. The cost was £23.00 for 24 hours.
Overall though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This hotel is not a luxury stay but it is fun. If you dont go expecting luxury then you wont be disappointed. It is boutique hotel through and through and I thoroughly recommend a Hotel Pelirocco experience.
Breakfast was served in the bar (also quirky in design) and was excellant. The staff here were pleasant, friendly and professional and are obviously a real asset to the hotel owners.
