This hotel is now owned by the Globales Hoteles chain. Since we were last there it appears to have been upgraded from 3* to 4* but, while we have now complaints about the facilities and service, we would personally consider it a good 3*.
The food (buffet) was good and varied without being spectacular. In particular, desserts were much of a muchness and uninspiring, except for one evening when, inexplicably, a good selection of more exciting desserts were on offer.
The hotel is close to a small, charming bay. There is a pedestrianised area with shops, bars and cafes a short walk away, but overall it is a quiet resort. There are a couple of other bays a short walk away, and the old capital Cuitadella is about an hour and a half’s pleasant stroll beyond those (or a bus service is available).
