A small boutique hotel on a side street off Bourbon Street. Make sure to ask for a room at the back as those at the front are noisy. Good sized room, accessible by lift, big shower, adequate storage. Breakfast in the open courtyard (when we were there they had put a white cover up high, presumably for a wedding, although it also kept the torrential rain out too!) is good, quite a varied selection, both cooked and continental. Tea bags actually not bad for the States!! Good position, central, you can walk from here to most of New Orleans. Staff very helpful and friendly, managed to get bookings at a restaurant when we couldn’t! Worth negotiating a good rate too. Wifi throughout. Air conditioning in the room (necessary!)
