Reasons for trip

This hotel Leipziger Hof was within walking distance of the train station on our InterRail holiday, and was a super place to stay with views to the mountains of Innsbruck. The buffet breakfast was excellent with cereals, smoked salmon, eggs, fruit, and a large choice of Austrian pastries and I was even lucky enough to get lacto free milk!

We enjoyed two evening meals in the lovely restaurant, and it seemed a treat and they looked after us well. We enjoyed chicken with salad and lovely apfel strudel and sauce for pudding, and there was a good choice of dishes.

On the top floor was a sauna, solarium and an infra red cabin which warmed my back wonderfully after walking in the mountains and taking the cable car to the top! This relaxation lounge had a great view of the Alps and we used it both evenings to take in the vista. We recommend the family run hotel which looked after us very well.

The room was very spacious, and we had two basins in our bathroom and everything we needed.
