Walking

This was the first time that we had stayed in a small hotel in Seefeld. It is family run by Helga and Franz and it is a lovely little gem of a place. It is about 7 or 8 minutes walk from the centre of Seefeld, but it is a nice level walk so it is not a problem. The hotel would not be suitable for disabled guests as there are steps to the front door and although it has a lift, there are steps up or down to each floor from the lift. It has about 20 rooms and they all have balconies. The rooms that have a bath are the superior rooms, otherwise they have showers. The room was not large, but it was perfectly adequate with lots of storage space for clothes. A small toilet and washbasin was in one room and a separate shower off the bedroom. There is a nice area in the basement with an infrared cabin, sauna and footbath as well as a huge spa shower. They will dry clothes for you down there in their drying room. The food was exceptional, 5 courses every evening and they were all delicious. We had no problem asking for a vegetarian option and they made an effort to produce something a bit different for us. I honestly do not think that you could find a nicer hotel with a warmer welcome anywhere, they are delightful people and make such an effort to keep a top rating in the village. Well worth trying out.
