Relaxation

We have stayed at the Hawaii, three times in the last two years. This has been as a week away a couple of times during May half term, and as a main stay Holiday in August.

We have travelled as a family, generally half board but the most recent visit was all inclusive, and we have just returned June 1st 2011.

Here's the deal:

It is a very good 3 star hotel, in fact we have stayed in lesser quality 4 star. The food is of a good standard consistently, and boy there is plenty of it.

Much has been written about San Antonio wild life, and by that I mean night life. Trust me this hotel is far enough away not to be disturbed by that, other than the odd occasion when a rowdy group walk past the hotel either going to or returning from the port side.

It is within touching distance of the beach, it gets a little busy around 'towels on sun beds' time as certain people try to secure beds around the pool, contravene the hotels rules…this happens everywhere!. The staff are good and try to ensure fair play but what you need to know is the beach is 10 yards away, AND the hotel recently have created an upper deck (on the roof of the dining area), that catches the sun all morning on the east side, and all afternoon, evening on the south side.

This is however a distraction from the main point of this review.

The view is simply stunning of the bay. The sunsets are world class.

I have placed on 'You Tube' the view from our room, We stay in the same room each time.

Simply type in the search bar on You Tube 'klick4nick', and you will find it.

This clearly illustrates that you could stay in a villa costing millions for this view, and all this comes with a 3 star hotel, providing you are willing to pay a little extra for a premium room.

We have also stayed for a couple of nights in a regular room that over looks the pool, and bay and these also have a great view.

Either way, by virtue of the hotels fantastic location within the bay, you simply sit outside in the hotel or take 10 steps literally to the beach promenade, and the view mentioned above on 'You Tube' is guaranteed.

I have not created this post to boost viewings….I simply want to share with those considering Ibiza, and San Antonio, this great hotel in a fantastic location.

We are already looking to book for 2012.

Enjoy.
