This hotel is a delight for staying in Rome, just off a main road but very quiet nonetheless, and its location means all the sites are easily reached. Trevi 5min walk away, Spanish Steps 7min walk, Vatican 40min walk, Pantheon 15mins, Colloseum 30min walk, etc. Buses just round corner if prefer and hop on buses stop just 2 min walk away on main road. Lots of restaurants nearby at reasonable price 15 to 25 euro for good sized main course, also sandwich and pizza at 5 euro nearby. Lovely little cake and coffee shop right opposite hotel and even a big co-op store next door. Everything right by this hotel.
The hotel itself was friendly and the room, classic double, was a good size with very comfortable beds. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful and gave advice on trips etc if wanted. We explored on our own and had great days out and about even with the odd storm at tea time gone within an hour. We stayed bed and breakfast and always found food fresh and usual choices available, fruit, cereals, croissants, toast and jams, cake, yoghurts, scrambled or boiled eggs, bacon, and sausage or more of a spicy type than our sausage. And coffee or tea to order.
Overall great hotel and would use again when next in Rome.
