The holiday was booked – then the dreaded phone call to say the hotel I had booked was full and I needed to be put into Hotel Bisesti! I checked the brochure took one look and said I'm not staying there! I rang travel agent they had no other hotel to offer me so we had to stay at the Bisesti! So I had already decided it was going to be terrible – how wrong I was! The hotel was comfortable the staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms a little small but were quaint and clean and full of Italian charm – the menu was varied with a good selection which was a hit with my very fussy niece! The location was ideal just out through the attractive hotel gardens across the main road and a few minutes we were at the lake – perfect. Shops also just a short stroll – ideal for going back and forth to the hotel. In all we had a great trip and would not hesitate in staying at this resort and hotel again. The hotel I had booked was a long way from the lake and was in fact glad I didn't stay there as it was not so impressive close up. So now I go with my own instinct and make up my own mind as this trip to Garda is one holiday that I enjoyed and could not fault but it could have been so different – in all it was a relaxing stress free trip and I will return and possibly stay at the same hotel.
