To be honest, being sun seekers we chose this hotel from the Hotels.com website because it had a great looking swimming pool area. It was quite cheap (3 nights for 151 euros).
When we arrived (by the No.1 bus from Palma airport – a mere 3 euros) we weren’t disappointed. The pool area has a good size pool but in April it was a little chilly in the water. It has incredible views of the docks and the bay. After a day sightseeing we would lay on the sun loungers and watch the huge cruise liners slowly pull out from the docks heading for their next destination.
Our room (it was the 3rd room we were offered, the first 2 had double beds and we needed twins) also had a great view, was very clean and bright and even had a Jacuzzi bath!
There was a bar and restaurant but we barely went in there as we prefer to eat out. They looked fine though and the bar had a nice outside seating area.
This hotel is well worth considering if you are planning a stay in Palma. A word of caution though, it is at the top of a very steep hill. On our arrival the No. 1 bus stopped us at the bottom of the hill and dragging our cases up there would have been a real chore so we opted for a taxi. However we later found out there is another bus (No.46) that goes from outside the hotel to central Palma.
A very cheap but good value hotel. I definitely recommend it.
