I went on this holiday last July with my elderly parents and my husband. We chose a Warner hotel as we had been to their Cricket St Thomas hotel the previous year for the first time and we were very impressed. Unfortunately it was a long way from my parent's home in Manchester and as they are in their late 80s they wanted somewhere closer. Herefordshire is also an area that my parents don't know very well. We booked early in February and received a 50 per cent discount on ouir historical suites and we were not disappointed, the rooms were amazingly spacious and beautifully decorated in a style that really suited the historic house. Everything we needed for a week's stay was provided in the room and there were additional luxury extras. We dined every day in the fine dining room and the food and service were first class. Every room in the hotel was breath taking in style and there was lots to do, inside and out in the gorgeous grounds, so it was very difficult to actually go out for the day and leave all the luxury behind! But the hotel is well sited to visit lots of interesting places and my parents loved the area. All the staff were helpful and pleasant, the evening entertainment was varied and good quality. I would definately recommend this hotel and hope to go back again in the near future, a week just wasn't enough!
