This fabulous museum has all manner of interesting items exhibited. My particular favourites are the toy section (feeling my age when I note some of the things I played with as a tot now in a museum!), and the dolls house (they have regular sessions where they open it up and give a talk) along with the upstairs section where you'll see all manner of household items from yesteryear. Last time I went it was free entry, and I believe this is still the case. What an amazing gem of a place to spend an hour or so either on your own or sharing your excitement with friends and/or family members!
PS: Although there are many items on the ground floor, the domestic artefacts and other interesting stuff is upstairs, which may not suit less able people.
