This Holiday Inn at Gatwick Airport is served by regular G1 and G3 busses (daytime) and G7 (night) from bus stop 9 (if you can find it – airport signs a bit dubious!).

We were checked-in and got a generous room (due to IHG status) which included complimentary still and fizzy water, and a Mars bar!

We had a very late arrival so didn’t use the restaurant (we’d eaten at our departure airport and could have bought food onboard the flight if necessary).

Breakfast is not included at Holiday Inn (unlike HIX) – so we had our cupp-a-tea in room, collected our free ‘i’ newspaper, and direct to airport for a boots sandwich (flying BA so no free snack on flight).
