This hotel is literally across the road from the main check-in area at Glasgow Airport so can genuinely claim to be closer than any other. Reception, though busy, was handled quickly. Bedroom was clean and fresh; evening meal was good (I departed too early to sample breakfast, but with two downsides – the menu in the bedroom did not match the restaurant menu – so I didn’t find what I expected when choosing later. And then there was an automatic addition of a service charge which, due to my laziness in checking the bill (and the very small print on the menu), I didn’t notice – so they got tipped twice. Will use this hotel again – but will be somewhat the wiser!
