We are fans of Holiday Inn Express but had not tried this one. We were going to the ballet in Edinburgh and choose this one as it is on the doorstep of the Playhouse Theatre. We were really pleased to be so near in case the weather was bad and the hotel proved as good as the one in the Royal Mile we usually use. Rooms were clean , staff friendly and breakfast though self service was good. We asked for a quiet room and got one. Glad to say the ballet was puperb as well.
