This is a really good, comfortable resort. We are in apartment on the top floor (seventh) with amazing views of the waterways and sunsets. You can see the beach line too. The apartment has absolutely everything you could want. Different types of coffee for the star of the art coffee maker, and lots of different teas, dishwasher tablets and washing powder, etc. There are four beaches all within walking distance, but the resort provides a free shuttle bus to them. When arranging our first ride, they asked for a mobile number, and when I gave it the receptionist recognised it as a U.K. number, so suggested arranging a pickup time instead of phoning. The shuttle arrived exactly on time to bring us back. The shuttle also loans beach chairs, cooler boxes and beach toys for children. Beach umbrellas can be rented, at $10 for the whole stay. Bikes are free to borrow. DVDs are free to borrow, as are board games and garden type games. Organised games are held once a week. A note by the phone says phone calls are free (even international ones!). There isn’t food on site (apart form a cheese & wine evening, ice cream afternoon, and cookies and lemonade afternoon) but there are some lovely restaurants nearby, most of them recommended by the resort. There are lots of little islands, and lots of tour operators with boats for fishing, shelling and sight seeing. Reception staff are very helpful. We have been here for five days now and haven’t moved the car!
