I I read about an Irish Country Music night at the Hilton. Blackpool, which was organised by great days Travel Group. My Irish friend, Marie, and I had not had a holiday this year, so we decided to go for it. Our stay at the Hilton was very nice, and the room, though slightly scruffy, was very clean and well laid out and offered us a view of the sea,and in the distance Blackpool Tower. We had been sent a discount voucher.for the Tower so we went up it. There were incredible views from the top, reached mainly by lift. On our return to the hotel we swam in the hotel pool and used the sauna and steam room. There is also a 24 hour fitness centre and a beauty suite which offers facials and massages, but we did not have time. J We dined at Harry Ramsden's on our arrival day. In the evening we dined at the hotel, where a 3 course buffet greeted us. It was mostly self serve, which was excellent and we indulged We then watched Susan McCann and her band which we enjoyed very much. Several guests danced to the hmusic. The hotel staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. There were quite a lot of handicapped guests in the hotel, who seemed quite happy with their stay in the Hilton. We enjoyed our short stay very much, and we intend partaking of another longer stay there in the future and again organised by great days.
