During a recent holiday we visited Highclere Castle. As a keen watcher of the series of Downton Abbey it was fascinating & exciting to recognise the rooms used during the filming. We visited on the first day that it was opened for the season. The guides in the rooms were very informative. We travelled with Les Robinson’s Private coach trip from Lincolnshire and we knew most of the 41 people in the party.
