Great fun at the annual rowing regatta. Doesn’t have to cost the earth, take a picnic and use the train. Go early in the day to beat the crowds – the rowing starts early each day but most people don’t get there until lunch (and the rowing stops for lunch) do try and get out on the river, preferably on a small boat, not one of the big corporate party boats. It is lovely to get a breeze on the river and seeing the rowing and enclosures from the river 🙂
