Heatherton Sports Park is a family owned and run sports centre.
This adventure land has something to do for every age group.
There is a large play ground for small children, a train ride and an Arts & Crafts Cafe where kids can create their very own arty mask, enjoy face painting session or design their own 'crystal-like' bracelet or necklace, hand painted mug or plate.
There are several sports to take part in with the Tree Tops & Zip Wire Adventure for Adults & kids featuring as the main attraction since the one at nearby Pembrey Country Park closed recently.
Other sports include, Archery & the largest Go Kart track in Wales with both Adult and Child Go Karts.
There is no entrance fee. You only pay for the attractions you choose.
There are two lovely Cafes serving great fare for early brunch or lunch. These close at 4:00 p.m. However, there is a BBQ Pit Restaurant at very reasonable prices for dinner.
You need to book your place on the main attractions like the Tree Tops & Zip Wire Adventure or Go Karts since the first takes about 2 hours to complete and once you or the kids start on the Go Karts you will want to go around again and again!
This attraction is far from the beaten track but still close to Tenby. Bus & Train journeys are not direct or laid on for this destination and are not viable taking about 3 hours one way, therefore, you will need a car or taxi.
All in all, it was a great day out in lovely surroundings in the countryside with fields and forest to enjoy along with all the great activities.
