Reasons for trip

This is an absolutely amazing place! Where can you go that has so many bird displays in one place (fewer in winter).

There is the Wings of Africa display which was just beautiful, so many birds flying around, all to music, plus birds walking around and meercats too. Best display I’ve ever seen!

The Valley of the Eagles was just as brilliant, the birds just came from just everywhere!
this also had vultures flying just over our heads.

There were other displays too like the Woodland Owls and an audience with Madeleine (a Secretary Bird) all extremely good.

The birds /animals are all well cared for and the site is well laid out to view them all.
This is suitable for all ages but would recommend going when weather is nice as more birds would be flying.

There is a cafe / restaurant there as well as a picnic area. They also provide a shaded area for your car if you bring your dog, (you can come and go as often as you like throughout the day). Get there as near to opening time as you can, so as not to miss out on the whole days events.

I am looking forward to going again and I highly recommend it to everyone.
