Reasons for trip

Relaxation

Although attractive the Haven Wild Duck caravan site was wildly expensive for things like drinks and takeaway fish n chips. Staff friendly though and helpful. I don’t think it’s for older people really it’s more for folks with children. Enjoyed seeing the rabbits and squirrels and ducks outside the caravans. No deer am afraid. The caravan wasn’t very comfortable and beds a little hard too so we shall not be returning. The best bit was our trip to Gorleston beach which is clean and attractive. The pavilion theatre there was very nice. Old fashioned and quaint we all laughed at the summer laughter show. Calling for drink and snack at the Pier Inn hotel nearby first. What a wonderful old place with historic paintings. The boat trips were also enjoyable at the broads. Particularly Fairhaven gardens and the trip by small boat as we got to see chicks and all sorts of birds. We did some home cooking in the caravan once. It was ok. But shall not be tempted to go again.
