Hastings has so much going for it. It’s on the south coast looking straight out over the English Channel bordered by shingle and sandy beaches, a wide promenade stretching the length of the town. There’s a pier, harbour arm, historic fishing huts and fishing fleet. Castle ruins dating back to 1066, smugglers caves close to the castle, two finecular railways climbing two separate hills. A fascinating Old Town with narrow streets and older worlds shops. So much to see and do!
