This is a new conversion from an old Bottle Kiln factory, hence the name. Very convenient if you find you need a night in Harwich. Is actually in Dovercourt, but a nice walk along to Harwich and at a fraction of the price of the Harwich hotels – and I think nicer if you are interested in the beach/scenic walks.
Downstairs is a pub, but upstairs where the rooms are is secure and very quiet.
We stayed in December and found it pristine. A brand new place, spacious room, lovely shower and comfortable bed. Huge flatscreen TV. Breakfast not included but excellent menu and very good value for both breakfast and the room. Would highly recommend. This is the first time I have stayed in a Wetherspoons and would choose again. Better quality and value than the usual hotel chains.
