This is a new establishment that just opened last month in downtown London, Ontario. The owners are a young couple from the Ukraine and it looks like it will be a hit. I tried it last week with a friend and we will definitely be back. The décor is bright and simple in blue and white with fresh yellow roses on the tables and the food is delectable. We had lattes and cakes, chocolate mousse cake with cherry filling for me and honey cake for my friend. They also have chocolates and other goodies for sale. Though they don’t have a website yet, they do have a presence on Facebook (@happiness.ca) on which you can see the wonderful range of baked goods, especially cakes. The waffles look good as well. The owner makes everything from scratch, even the sauces and toppings for the waffles. I wonder what I’ll try next time?
The only sad thing is that they’re not open in the evening. They’re open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm during the week and from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturdays. They’re not open on Sundays. There is room for a couple of vehicles on the parking pad in front of the cafe. Although there is no parking on Wellington Street, there is metered parking on the side streets and an Impark parking lot behind the cafe.
