This was a last-minute deal via www.booking.com so good value at £69 for a double room including a Four Poster bed and a very good, freshly cooked breakfast. We didn’t see any rooms specifically for those with disabilities or limited mobility, but there are a lot of small steps here and there into the main building. The dining room/conservatory is comfortable and leads out into the garden area – we did consider offering to stay for a week in exchange for weeding and tidying their garden which needs a bit of tlc.
It is a pleasant place, clean, and what I would call a traditional small hotel/ guest house in the Tenby area. If you are driving it is fine but walking and travelling by public transport means it is a bit of a hike up the hill out of town (Narberth Road). However, after exploring a bit as our evening stroll, we found it easier and quicker to catch our bus the next day at the top of the hill rather than go back into town for the bus terminus.
Our room at the front of the house was nice and sunny but with the unprecedented heatwave, the windows had to be open all night so some heavy traffic noise every now and then. So, pleasant enough and a useful stopover on our bus tour of West Wales.
