The Hammam or Turkish Bath is a good way to start your holiday ,as there are a variety of treatments with different costs , we selected a exfoliating scrub & foam wash ,which removes your surface dead skin to give a deeper tan. The Hammam is situated in the basement of the hotel & needs to be booked in advance.You are provided with separate sex changing rooms were you disrobe & are provided with a towel to wear .When ready you go though into the hammam proper & lay down on a big heated stone where you sweat up to open your pores & then the masseurs soak your body in warm water & rub your body down with an abrasive pad to remove the dead skin,& then follow up with a warm soapy/foam wash to leave you feeling tingling & clean form top to toe. you are then taken to the underground swimming pool to sit down,cool down & dry off & then when ready return to the changing rooms ,( to shower if you wish) to finish drying off ,get dressed & leave .
