My 6th trip to Mexico so decided to try a new location: Puerto Morelos – between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. The Hotel we stayed in was beautiful but lacking in any Mexican charm. One thing I love about Mexico is the wildlife that roams around the hotel resorts but there was none to see at the H10. The food was excellent and the service generally good but it was my least favourite holiday in Mexico. We got a taxi to the local town once and didn't hang about, it was run down and really not very photogenic. There's a lot to be said for sticking with what you know sometimes and I wish we'd gone back to a more popular resort.
