A perfect location for a theatre break or just to walk/explore the Malvern Hills (as long as you can cope with the steep climbs), this long-established traditional hotel is a good choice. There are lots of oddly shaped rooms and corridors, but there is a lift for reaching guest rooms and the high ceilings make it roomy and light.
It was a comfy bed, all clean and well maintained and at £88 for two people B&B for the night is good value. Breakfast is absolutely first class with the widest choice possible and excellent made-to-order hot food – perfect poached eggs.
We already had dinner booked beforehand but would certainly try their dinner menu next time we stay. Altogether, staff members were all excellent and service exceptional so it was an excellent stay and perfect way to enjoy our visit to the theatre.
