The Grange City Hotel is a 4 star hotel, which can often be booked through an internet company called "Hotel Exclusives". The deals are amazing and you can get accommodation for considerably less that the price of a Travelodge! This particular Grange Hotel is in Coopers Row, right next to Tower Tube Station and 2 minutes from buses.

It faces the Tower of London and I was particularly lucky, on asking for a high floor, to get a wonderful room facing the Tower!

Did not eat there as there are so many places to eat and drink within a 5-10 minute walk, but the bar was not over-expensive.

One of the biggest advantages of these upmarket hotels is that you can arrive early and leave your luggage with the concierge (no charge) and then go out and come back later and book in. Also, on your booking out day, you can again leave your luggage with the concierge.

This makes a 2 night break into 3 full days in London – wonderful.

Also, hotel very close to the river, Tower of London, and St Katharine Docks area where you will find lovely places to eat and drink. Thoroughly recommend it. Grange have another equally nice hotel about 5 minutes away – Grange Tower Hotel, where I have also stayed.
