The Hotel staff were warm, welcoming and helpful, although they didn't appear to know an awful lot about the area. The rooms are well presented, clean and comfortable although the corridors are not very well labelled and I got lost a few times. Only being there for 3 days I had only just found my way around when we had to leave. There is an outside bar area which, unfortunately, on the Saturday Night, was taken over by a large private party. This meant all other guests could only have a drink in the inside bar. When I'm on holiday I like to sit outside and watch the worls go by but, as the private party was held right in front of the windows, we were unable even to see the sea, let alone passers by. The main problems cam when we attempted to use the spa and swimming pool. My husband is not very mobile and we were horrified to find that, to get into the pool, we had to take a lift to the ground floor, walk along a long corridor (no signs here either so we had to ask 3 people if we were going in the right direction), go down a small flight of stairs, go UP a small flight of stairs, go through two double doors, go DOWN a set of narrow winding stairs and we finally found the pool. Please also note that the changing rooms and showers, jacuzzi and saunas are all UP a few tiled stairs. When we looked for the Spa we found yet another set of stairs and gave up! The food was OK but definitely not up the advertised 5* rating.
