Just had a lovely two night break at Gleneagles, this is a lovely old style hotel but modern in every way. It was undergoing an upgrade on one of the large bars which was due to open the following day and looked very modern.

The spa area was great with two pools one adult only and away from the children’s pool both of a very good size and not deep so easy for exercise.

Plenty of places to eat and drink and the staff couldn’t be more attentive if they tried, food very good but not cheap, but it is a one off for many.

It has a spa and golf the main reason for most but there is a small area for a bit of mini golf.

It was a big birthday year so a bit treat to us both but would love to go back.
