This is a quiet French village in Burgundy. Chatillon -sur -Seine to the north and Montbard to the south have numerous supermarkets etc.
A recently lovingly restored gite with 2 double bedrooms (spacious) and 1 bathroom upstairs with a shower. Very well equipped gite,enough glasses, plates etc for entertaining, Dog friendly. Toilet downstairs. wifi/elec and wood included. Owners down the road who can help at any time, who renovated the gite (English). The cottage has its own swimming pool, and a good size garden area for kids to run in.
You are right in the middle of Cremant area, so tasting opportunities. Dijon and Beaune wine areas to the south, nice day out . Champagne to the north or on the way down as we did.
Electric radiators and wood burner for warmth. Stairs are slightly steep but not excessive. open area downstairs one level, kitchen and sitting room.
We visited various medieval towns when we were thereSemur-en Auxois and Vitteaux.
The Cremant we went to was very good Ambelopsis- good museum, highly entertaining at time and educational.
