Set in a lovely quaint village overlooking the village green we just stumbled across this pub by accident. Obviously well used by locals with a bonus of a tea room attached for when we had finished walking. The food we had in the pub was yummy and especially so as the mash potato was made from scratch! The local brew went down well with my partner and the cider on tap wasn’t bad either!
Just down the road is the Quainton Preserved Railway. Always a good few hours can be spent there.
Surrounding countryside was gorgeous and worth a visit perhaps before HS2.
