This is surely a must-see location for this area. Of course booking is now required and toilets are few and far between. Be prepared for lots of walking with lack of shade so bring a snack and sufficient water which can be topped up at the entrance only. It’s not a great place in the rain as almost no cover except in the cellarium. We walked at least 6m and could have done more. No need for walking boots just decent shoes. There is a lot to look at so plan for just doing this site in one day. We saw people pushing plenty of wheelchairs and prams but some of it can be hard going on the grass or on hilly bits if you want to see most of it.
