Eight members of my Foodie Group had a truly memorable evening at Fig & Olive last night….They had organised a beautiful table at the rear of the restaurant, bedecked with mini orange trees, lavender and chrysanths….so pretty.
Superb food, wonderful service and great company…
Choice of starters included smoked eel salad; goat’s cheese; King scallops; mixed mezze; garlic bread, followed by rack of lamb with artichokes, spinach and saute potatoes; roast breast of duck.and half a lobster with tagliatelle . Desserts included grilled pineapple with fresh chilli and lemon zest, served with coconut ice-cream; banoffee pie; pecan pie; gooseberry pie; sticky toffee pudding…..and the lovely waitress, Sevil , then brought us the lemon pie to try on the house …….so delicious ! This is a winner and we will definitely return….often !
