We went to Waterloo, and the South Bank, London Eye opposite station on the banks of The Thames.
It was a lively Christmas market, lots of people walking along the river, and also stalls selling food. This is alongside The Eye, and Thames.
They also had Christmas maze, people standing like statutes doing dances if you give them money, and people and children watching them.
They also had a maze, a little train which ran a short distance along the Thames for children. Also carousel, lots of stalls.
But everywhere was costly. I felt sorry for parents with children as everything had a price – nothing was free.
Nice secondhand books selling outside National Theatre, and as it was a lovely day – weatherwise – it was a good atmosphere!!!
Although advertised as a 'free event' in Metro and numerous other magazines, nothing was FREE.
