If you’re looking for a good breakfast in Stratford, Ontario, Features Restaurant is the place to go. It is right downtown on the corner of Ontario and Waterloo Streets. It is very popular (voted best breakfast in town since 2007) so you may have to wait for a table but the service is quick so you shouldn’t have to wait long. This past weekend my sister and I went here for breakfast and were able to get right in.
We both had the breakfast special for $5.49 (served until 10:00 am) which was three eggs (scrambled for her and softly poached for me); choice of bacon, ham or sausage; some dark baked beans; home fries (cubed potatoes); and toast (white, brown or rye). It is more than enough food to set you up for the day and it is consistently good. They also serve burgers, sandwiches and wraps.
It is only a breakfast place so it closes at 3:00 pm. We parked around the corner on Albert street. The washroom is downstairs so not easily accessible if you have mobility issues.
