As we were planning to stay nearby, we booked a dinner at the Fahrenheit Grill. We were a little apprehensive at it was part of a casino, Genting Club. However we were very impressed by the service and food at the restaurant.
Service was friendly and attentive. For starters, my wife chose marinated baby mozzarella with heritage tomato and salsa verde and I, pan fried scallops on a bed of chorizo and coriander risotto. Both dishes were excellent. We both chose fillet steak with trimmings. The steaks were 35 day matured and grilled in a josper oven and had a wonderful flavour. The thrice cooked chips deserve a special mention: they were really crisp and soft inside, unlike some soggy specimens we have suffered elsewhere. By that time in the meal I was full. My wife had room for a Strawberry Pavlova and we both finished with excellent coffees. Needless to say the restaurant had a five star Food Hygiene Rating from the local council… and gets a five star quality rating from ourselves.
